Job Description
Blue Star Psychology & Consulting is a positive, growing practice and is expanding our services to include teen-adult ADHD and adult Autism Spectrum evaluations. This is a developing role and could include both counseling and testing or testing only, depending on therapist’s preference. We are looking for a licensed psychologist who is experienced in psychological evaluations for these populations.
We are seeking to expand our clinic in Plano and will open a second office the fall in the Anna/Melissa area. Traditionally, our practice provides neuropsychological assessment and counseling services to clients experiencing chronic or traumatic onset health issues including brain or spinal cord injury, stroke, cancer, seizure disorder, Parkinson’s, dementia, and other.
Our practitioners are like family, and we are looking for a therapist who wants to be part of a team, with monthly team meetings and didactics.
Tasks Include
Intake evaluations, testing, and feedback sessions, report writing, and communication with families and referring providers.
Pay
Is negotiable, depending on experience, and can be:
- salaried or
- compensated based on number of tests done per week (uncapped).
- We have marketing in place to ensure you see the desired number of clients.

Minimum Qualifications
- include completion of a doctoral degree at an APA accredited program
- at least one year of testing experience.
