Dr. Rebecca Cartagena is a licensed psychologist, practicing for the past 10 years. She earned her doctorate in counseling psychology from Texas Tech University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She is originally from New York and holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and a master’s degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has worked in various settings, providing psychotherapy as well as conducting psychological assessments and evaluations with adults with diverse backgrounds and a variety of presenting problems.

She enjoys working on an interdisciplinary clinical team to provide holistic care to patients. She takes her time developing good working relationships with those she serves and cares deeply about providing a compassionate and ethical standard of care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks, and hanging out at bookstores and coffee shops. She loves to watch college sports, especially basketball.
